Waikiki, a beautiful beach on the Island of Oahu. First of all, Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places the Liveswim crew has yet to take over. This always makes it fun for the crew to have some swims that need coverage in such an amazing place. Honestly, we can’t tell you much about the place because we don’t spend much leisure time cruising the Island but we get a pretty enthused when we realize the Waikiki Rough Water Swim is just around the corner. The first year we left the Liveswim LA Headquarters headed to Hawaii, we had zero knowledge of what was ahead of us. Neither of the small two person crew had every been there, yet we were up for any challenges that present themselves with an eagerness to tackle them head on. Needless to say, with the spotty cell service, car battery, inverters, endless cables and tons of sunscreen, we were able to produce a product and experience we instantly knew we had to continue. So, here we are on year number three, ready to hit Waikiki Beach with all the cell cards, cameras, computers and enthusiastic swimmers we can.
